The recent cold wave that has started on Jan 20 ended as temperatures plunged to sub-zero levels in Kuwait and KSA. Temperatures are expected to rise to mid 20s during the next few days especially between Jan 27 and Jan 29. A slight fall in temperature is expected by early next week.
The recent cold wave brough gusty cool winds over the Arabian Gulf, especially off the UAE coastlines. A cold front and a low pressure developed on Jan 20 before the cold air, which caused some showers over the UAE, northern Oman, the Arabian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, and Pakistan.
The first few days in February are expected to be rainy over the Mediterranean, KSA, and Kuwait. More updates later!

This cold wave brought wonderful cool weather in the daytime and cold breeze in the nights indeed. However, I’m still heart broken that we didn’t get any actual rain falls. Allah have mercy on us..gotta try to be hopeful and optimistic.

It was amazing weather. There was some rain in the north. Unusually cool also. It is so far a classic winter with dry winter months. Usually February and march are wetter. Let’s see what happens. The first few days of feb will bring quite wet conditions in ksa and Kuwait.
