A period of unstable weather is expected over much of the eastern Arabian Gulf including parts of the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, parts of northern Oman, and parts of Saudi Arabia. Some scatterred thundershowers will be the name of the game between Sunday April 10th and Friday April 15th. You shouldn’t expect all areas to receive rain. Warmth will continue until cooler air arrives by April 16th. Is this an apology by weather itself for the dry winter here in the UAE?! Well, hot weather and rain sound like Double Standards! Expect a detailed analysis of the upcoming weather!

April is transitory month between winter and summer. The jet stream is moving northward with longer and warmer days ahead. But northern Arabia remains under the impact of migratory lows. During the next few days, an area of lower upper-air pressure is expected to move across the Mediterranean with a trough extending to Arabia. Coupled with daytime heating, afternoon and evening isloated thundershowers are likely to develop over parts of northern and central Saudi Arabia, possibly Kuwait, and northern Arabian Gulf. Gusty and dusty southerly winds are also likely as dusty winds reached 55 km/hr with reduced visibility.
