Potential for heavy rain in the UAE & Arabia
Prolonged unusual heavy rain and thunderstorms for the UAE. Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and KSA are also expected to receive heavy rain next week.

Late March 200mm
Unusual rain and thunderstorms are forecasted for a large portion of the eastern Arabian Gulf. Unusual in terms of amount and timing. The GFS is calling for rainfall amounts as much as 200mm in northern UAE. This is a lot. And to make things more exciting, the upper 500mb low will strengthen next week. The strange thing is how prolonged this unsettled weather might be.
This is highly unusual for this part of the world and this time of the year.
